Bmycurlfriend is now Bites by Brandy!

2 years ago I made the decision to shift my content from natural hair/lifestyle to cooking, restaurant reviews and lifestyle.  Since then, my page and my brand has grown tremendously.  I am beyond grateful to God for blessing me with the ability to cook and allowing my gift to make room for me. I learned to cook when I was 7 years old and owe it all to lessons from my grandmother, great-grandmother and mother.  Switching to food content was scary but also came naturally to me.  Suddenly creating content had a purpose. I have always loved to cook and now I have the privilege of sharing my dearest hobby with others.  I love the connections I have made with other foodies and cooking enthusiasts.  I've had the opportunity to work with some of my dream brands.  I have also made many local connections in the restaurant and foodie world in Baton Rouge, LA and New Orleans, LA.

 Through all of this, there was something missing.  When I connect with others in this niche, it has become harder and harder to explain why my handle is "Bmycurlfriend" lol.  It simply does not fit.  I have pondered on this for over a year and finally decided to take the leap and change my name.  Once again, I am doing it scared because "Bmycurlfriend" is what is familiar to me.  It's my baby and who my creative side has identified as since 2011.  One thing I do know is that sometimes you have to do it scared and God will open doors that you never imagined. You have to trust His plan for your life.  With that being said, welcome to Bites by Brandy!!  Here I will cook, eat and share bites of my life.  I hope you will join me on this journey.
